AI Mendoza is a graduate of California State University at Sacramento with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management, and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology.
He secured a California Real Estate License in 1976 and started his career with the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, where he was actively involved in the development of historic Old Sacramento. While in Sacramento, Al was appointed by the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Housing and Community Development in Washington, D. C, to a 5-member national task force to rewrite the Federal guidelines of HUD’s Section 312 Rehabilitation Loan Program.
Among his achievements include being appointed Division Director of the National Association of the Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) in Washington, D. C., where he designed and managed NAHRO”s nationwide professional development program. While at NAHRO, Al was nominated for a Loeb Fellowship to the John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Ava is currently studying to obtain her California real estate license. She currently holds an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science from San Francisco City College.

Manny’s inspiration to get into real estate stemmed from a bad experience he had when purchasing a property for his family. His excitement for buying his first property quickly became a nightmare. Despite Manny’s dissatisfaction with the dilapidated condition of the house he was buying, his real estate agent was adamant about canceling the transaction. Instead of looking out for Manny’s best interest, the agent was only interested in earning his commission. That experience sparked a desire for Manny to learn more about real estate. Daniel Kim, Realtor
Before entering the world of real estate, Daniel enjoyed a very active role in professional combat sports. As a lifelong martial artist, Daniel has won multiple amateur championship titles.
Born into an immigrant, working class family — Daniel speaks both conversational Mandarin and Korean — Daniel grew up in very diverse neighborhoods where hard work, hustle, and doing the job right became an ingrained habit for Daniel. After a motorcycle accident ended his pursuits as a competitive professional fighter, he began his career as a realtor.
Before coming to Al and joining the University Realty team, Daniel served clients in residential real estate all over the San Francisco Bay Area. He is looking forward to expanding into commercial real estate and business development with University Realty. His diverse background gives him the asset of being able to communicate and empathize with a wide range of personalities.
In his free time Daniel enjoys yoga, playing guitar, and is a coach for professional and amateur fighters.
